Foil, épée, or sabre?

Rapier or longsword. If I have to pick from that list, sabre, but the military ones, not the type used in fencing.
Foils suck. What's the point of a sword with no edge? (Pun intended)

I choose the épée, if only because crosswords use it all the time because it has a very high e ratio.

I fancy myself as a poor stabber, based on several duals with fake weaponry. A sabre would suit my needs, assuming I have any idea what a sabre is and am not entirely mistaken.
