Easily the most consistent band of the listed bunch. I like Radiohead just as much, but they don't really fit into the "Britpop" mold as much. I love what I've heard from Pulp, but haven't heard enough of them to really judge. Also, no Lightning Seeds? No Suede? Arctic Monkeys, Travis, or Franz Ferdinand would be a much better fit than Muse. The Stone Roses' first album is one of the greatest albums of all time, and "I Wanna Be Adored" is one of the best songs of all time, but their second album was pooey. Blur was mostly a singles band... And Oasis are just overrated, in my opinion. They fell straight off after their second album. Last edited by Bomby; 01-13-2008 at 08:33 PM. |
