video-game tournament: Match 1 mario or link?

so, who will win the first match of the Video-Game tournament? Mario, the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, or Link, the Hero of Time, the Hero of Hyrule, the Hero of that Island, the Hero of Termina, and so on and so on.
