Having grown up in Michigan, I've been playing Euchre for years. However, having many friends from Wisconsin, we often get into the Euchre vs. Sheepshead debate. Euchre is obviously better. |

I think it's lots of fun. ------------- [I've heard of Euchre (I think it's more of a Midwest thing cause I've only ever heard of it from a friend from Ohio) but never played it. ~SML] Last edited by Swordmaster Link; 07-24-2008 at 01:19 PM. |

Anywhere else in the Midwest, you'll see both. |

Mostly because I despise how corny bums from rural Wisconsin say "Euchre." Also, I'm going to have to disagree with ML's statement wholeheartedly. I live in Wisconsin. Corny bums from the country talk about and play Euchre all the time. Only people I know that play Sheepshead came from Oberlin, Ohio. Oberlin is a sweet campus, BTW. Lots of cool indie kids there. |

Southeast is a strange place where they call pop "soda" and call water fountains "bubblers." Actually, minus the whole "bubbler" thing, Southeast is way cooler than the rest of Wisconsin... except for South Central. |

Other people seem to think that having a blast in Cleveland is impossible. I've never been to anyplace exciting in Michigan. As much as I love the People's Republic of Madison, WI, I must say that Chicago is the most fun place I've ever been. It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there... |
