What characteristics or qualities do you find most admirable/attractive in them? Please keep in mind that I have a few ideas for projects floating around and I want to make sure I can create lead characters that people can identify with - your input is invaluable. |

He's always been plagued with problems in his life as Peter Parker (money, bullying, finding a job) and doesn't always win his battles when in costume. |

It sounds so simple, but how many people can honestly say they've devoted most of their life to doing something they love and that inspires them. Plus, he does it merely for the sake of getting better...usually when people see or hear the word "hero" they think of what that person does for others (which is valid of course), but sometimes being yourself is the hardest thing to do. But to actually answer the topic, humility and patience. |

Same to you, Furball. It's definitely a good idea to consider humility and humanity. Especially reading the older Spiderman comics, and you can see that he is somewhat torn between wanting to use his abilities to help others and wanting to fulfill his desire for revenge against those who wrong him. |

The person i choose was ghandi though, not a superhero, although spiderman really would have been my second choice. E: ryu would have been a good choice too. if you set aside the fact that his story is hardly 2 pages long, let alone 50 notecards worth. but hes a cool dude tho |

But since this is about Superheroes, and their features, I find that I personally enjoy, as Karg said, humanity in a hero, and flaws that one can relate to. Nobody is perfect, and to make a character perfect is to run away from reality in ever way. |
