I was watching this show on Discovery Channel last night; it talked about all of the different ways the world could end.

There was:

Getting baked by global warming
Consumed by gray matter (my favorite

)
Sucked into a black hole
The earth freezing over again
A star shooting out a gamma ray
Solar flare
The sun inflating
The sun exploding
Robot uprising

Among many more.
