I really didn't know if Halo would be in this category or not, but I added it anyway.

Um, I wouldn't define platformers or FPS as "run n gun".

Metal Slug, Contra, and Alien Hominid are better examples.

I finally remembered one better than both Halo and megaman,Armed and Dangerous.
I highly recommend this game,fun and quite funny.
