Guitar Hero/Rockband.

Now if we're talking original music, I'd say Zelda. There are a few other games or series to have some music I liked, but Zelda has by far the most.

Zelda has great music, but my Video Game music playlist is composed mostly of Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy music. It's everything from rocking to heartwrenchingly gorgeous. I also have the Brawl soundtrack, and Kingdom Hearts - both are very good.

But I think FF edges out the rest. It's very close, though.

Megaman and Sonic. Aside from FF, nothing else is close.

Oh come on. Where's Castlevania? The music is totally kick ass in that series, especially in Symphony 'n' Chi no Rondo! Besides, I adore my Gothic fix!!

Both of these. I love listening to the "new arrangements" in Smash, but I also love listening to the old school tunes as well.

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts always seems to have the right music in the right place... sorry, I just can't think of a better way of explaining it.

Sonic music also rules.

Nobuo Uematsu is the greatest VG composer of our time.

As for other series, it depends on the game. For instance, I don't think I've heard a better VG soundtrack since Super Mario Galaxy came out.

Smash Bros. (many great remixes) and Sonic and Mario (many memorable tunes)

I've never liked the orchestral stuff, so FF is out of the question. I've also never liked the generic Rock stuff, so Sonic is out of the equation too. Mario gets a mention because it's too damn classic, but Megaman takes the title because it always mixes the music up.

Edit: Three words: Donkey. Kong. Country. Enough said.

Most of it is still music pulled from other games, or remixes of stuff from other games.

My top 5:
1. Final Fantasy
2. Zelda
3. Secret of Mana
4. DKC
5. Mega Man

I love Smash's, but I find it more of a compilation of soundtracks, or just cover versions, so I kinda count 'em out.

Don't ask why WEEGEE's there,I just picked a random picture to be there for the most part. Then added on to it.
Watch it through at least 30 sec. before turning it off.
The vid sux,but the ending i thought was funny.Along with the kick@$$ music.

It's just a randumb piece a crap vid.

EDIT: now that i watch it again,i see that WEEGEE wasn't the center of attention. :/

Final Fantasy has the best music for a series, but when we start talking about more standalone things, Chrono Trigger becomes better and better in that aspect.

The best Brawl remixes were the ones that got rejected, such as Smiles and Tears, Rawest Forest, and Ballad of the Wind Fish. Also, the Mother 3i mix of the Theme of Love is better than the Brawl version. -CSM
