Eternal life with eternal ageing or eternal youth with a fixed lifespan?

Eternal life for me.

I'd rather die young as is.

Eternal Youth and Fixed Lifespan for me.

I'd take the gambit with eternal ageing, and hope that technological singularity will provide magic to make living awesome, even if I'm a raisin.

Eternal youth with a fixed lifespan. I don't feel like living forever today.

So what's the appeal of eternal youth anyways, something that eternal life won't offer?

I assume by "eternal life", it's meant as indefinite life. Eternal life in the literal sense I think would end up being a drag; that, however, doesn't obviate that a few hundred years of living might be worth living for.

Eternal youth and fixed lifespan.

I sure as hell don't want to have to live forever.

What's the fixed lifespan? Can you be killed with your eternal life?

I prefer to become a cyborg.

Much less aging to worry about, and eternal youth is dumb. I hated being young, and now that I'm almost 21, I'll finally be free of the 'you're a dumb kid' cracks.

Well, except for ancient bitter people, but they'd call anyone a second younger than them kids anyway.

He means you don't turn into a prune, not that you don't mature into your 20's. 20-year-olds certainly aren't old, in the scheme of things. Meh, kids and their shortsightedness.

Who the hell wants to be a 10 year old forever?

Well, since I believe in a heaven, I'd most definitely go with eternal youth with eventual death. That way I get the best of both worlds.

I choose eternal youth with fixed life-span. I assume "youth" means about 21-25, so that you'd be in your prime until the day you die. What's the point of living forever if you're so old you can barely stand on your own feet? I figure eternal youth has more to offer.

Also, does eternal life mean you'll never die of old age, or you literally cannot die, or be killed?

I choose 'fixed lifespan and normal aging'. Aim low, I say.

Yeah, even as a 10 year old, I told people who told me to appreciate being a child that if anything I disliked it. Of course, this may have been because I used huge words then as I do now, and people attacked me over it.

Yet for some reason it's fine for me to use them now that I'm no longer a teenager or child.

Eternal life with eternal aging would suck. I don't even want to think about the health problems you'd have at 10,000.

Assuming the "fixed lifespan" is reasonable, I'd take that.
