Platforming Speeds

Playing multiplayer co-op in a platformer is like driving on the freeway; anyone going faster or slower than you will end up pissing you off.

I've noticed such a dichotomy with such after playing rounds of NSMBWii with my friends and found that the line separating the leisurely from the hasty is surprisingly thin. So which side of this line do you stand?

I prefer a relaxed pace.

Man, I think I was MADE for some of those NSMB Wii levels. I'm running right through it, and everyone else gets aggrivated by it.

My first time around, I take it easy and explore a bit.

After that, I can bounce right through.

I usually try to find secrets the first time through.

After that, you can eat my dust.

First playthrough: FAST FAST FAST FAST

Second playthrough: That pixel looks slightly discovered. It must be a secret!

In other words, there are very few people who can stand playing co-op with me unless I've finished the game 3+ times.

Depends on the game, mostly. If it's something like Sonic, then I'll want to just make it to the goal. But if it's something like Megaman, then I'll take my time to explore.

And if it's something like Mario, then I'll do a little of both.
