Your Perfect Meal

Your wedding, your last meal, whatever occasion you think warrant the perfect menu, what would it be? Here's mine...

Appetizer: [There are a LOT of appetizers I love. Picking just one would be ridiculous.]
Salad: Iceberg-romaine-spinach blend with shredded cheddar, onions, black olives, & croutons, drizzled with tangy tomato bacon, ranch, and/or orange French dressing.
Entree: Veal parmigiana cooked medium, light on the sauce, heavy on the cheese.
Side: Penne in butter-&-oil sauce, dashed with garlic & parsley, with Amighetti's Bakery "Dominic" buns.
Beverage: The Sweet Elixer of Life*, free refills.
Dessert: Something involving copious amounts of dark chocolate & blueberries. Maybe cinnamon, too.

*And remember, "I'm-a A&W, number 1919!"

First the perfect picnic:

The company certainly matters...

On pretty plates set in the middle of the picnic blanket:
Strawberries and a bowl of cream
Strips of crumbed chicken
Potato and egg salad
Shredded lettuce, cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes
Bacon and cheese pinwheels
Chocolate freckles, chocolate mousse and chocolate covered marshmallows!!!
Green tea and water (not together) to wash it all down with.

Formal meal another time!!!

Salad: can I have white rice instead?
Entree: Vegetable Tempura
Side: Unagi Maki
Beverage: Oolong Tea
Dessert: Lychees

I like Japanese food. There's something else you can all go "lolz he likes teh azian stuff" about me for.

Steve Roll Sushi
Tempura Udon
Eggplant Parmigiana
Chile Relleno
Chocolate cake, Cherries, Ice Cream

Drinks: (with dinner) Root beer, (with dessert) White Russian

Then I explode because I'm too full >_>

BUT perfect meals come in all situations-- picnic, formal, Chinese banquet, breakfast, gaming party, midnight snack, luncheon, tea party, faerie party, wedding, fireworks show, etc...

I have MANY lists to compile. You should too.

Okay.

Formal meal:

Prawn cocktail
Homemade seven happiness soup
Baked red emporer with lemon wedges, baked potatoes, honey carrots and broccoli with cheese sauce
Sparkling grape juice or strawberry wine or both
Chocolate lava cake with oodles of cream
After dinner chocolate mints with a cup of tea

Chinese banquet another time!!!!

I don't know. I'm a fan of 99% of all food, and what I'd want for my perfect meal would probably depend on what mood I was in that day.

But it would have to cover the entire food pyramid. And the drink would be simple orange juice. With pulp.

Salad: Romaine lettuce with creamy Italian dressing, onions, mushrooms, Italian cheese, and bacon
Entree: Normal-crust pizza with ham, pineapple, fresh-cooked hamburger, mushrooms, olives, and banana peppers
Side: Garlic pasta
Beverage: Diet Pepsi Lime
Dessert: Vanilla ice cream

That would be grand, assuming I don't throw up afterward.
