Globes can't be rolled up or stored as easily, and always come on spinny things that make them hard to carry and manipulate. |

Among the ones that don't, I guess Robinson is the most visually pleasing. I've always found the Mercator projection to be incredibly scary, though the transverse Mercator projection is hundreds of times scarier. Why no Gall-Peters projection? |
