How do you feel about black licorice?

It's revolting. The smell alone makes me nauseous. It's the anise. A lot of Italian cookies have anise in them; I can't stand those either.

Black licorice is a little too strong on it's own for me. I prefer licorice allsorts for any and all licorice needs.

Everytime someone gets black licorice I try it thinking "it's not all that bad" then as I chew it I realize I'm horribly wrong.

The closest thing I've tried is twizzlers, which are made of badly flavored plastic.
