What kind of apples do you like the best?

Love Granny Smith. Sour foods are awesome, not quite as happy with the sweeter apples.

I only use Granny Smiths in cooking. Royal Galas are where the eatin's at. <3

If I'm eating an apple by itself, then I'll take a Fuji because it is sweet and has a long shelf life. (Which was what the people creating it in Fujisaki wanted)

However if I want soemthing like a caramel apple or for baking, I'd either use a baking apple or a Granny Smith. If you're making an apple pie in my opinion, you really can't go wrong with using Granny Smith apples.
