This was probably asked a long time ago in a topic far, far away, but since I don't feel like performing thread necromancy, here is a new one. My all time favorites are Louis CK, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock. Lately I've been getting into Aziz Ansari. Patton Oswalt is pretty good, too. |

Other good ones mentioned were Patton Oswalt, Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, and Aziz Ansari. Ron White and Jeff Dunham both have their moments, but I wouldn't call them my favorites. Mitch Hedberg is awesome. I just recently found out he had a third comedy album out (released posthumously) "Do You Believe in Gosh?" His other two comedy CDs have both flavours of Mitch: smooth stoned and angry stoned. |

Does Flight of the Conchords count? Live, they do a lot of improvisational stuff, so it feels stand-uppy... |

For you Demetri Martin fans, you should buy his new book, "This is a Book." It's like a longer version of his stand up. I'm a fan of Howie Mandel's old stuff where it looks like he's just on coke or something. His Bobby character is great. Mike Birbiglia has great delivery and Ricky Gervais is drier than Britain's sense of humour...wait. |

I love any comedian that can make me laugh a lot, which is a lot of comedians. Oh, Daniel Tosh is another one I really enjoy just because he's really good at offending everybody equally and it's hilarious. |
