passport

So, like, I'm supposed to be headed up to Canada this summer, and I've been putting off getting a passport forever...and now I have only a few weeks left, and I'm freaking out, but I just discovered that all I need is my birth certificate and a picture ID for good measure. Score one for procrastinators!

Heh, yeah, why would you need a passport to go to Canada?

S'ok, heh. *does the procrastination dance*

Canada=America. You may not even need any ID. They let anyone into that country.

Or just walk across the border. Or swim across a lake. I'll think about how later. -CSM

Yeah, but the US of A is getting a bit picky about who can come back.

Getting stuck in Canada wouldn't be that bad. Just cold.

You'll have more freedom up there than we do down here anyway. You'll just have to cope with people calling soda "pop" all the time and mayo all the time. -CSM

I'm more worried about ending up saying "eh" at the end of my sentences.

^I've discovered that that is not entirely true. Just some use it more gratuitously than others..

It actually came about that I didn't need any ID whatsoever to enter Canada, but I needed it to return. No big deal.

Canada is America's somewhat-dissapointing-yet-still-charming-in-its-own-unique-way sequel.
