I know it's silly, but, couldn'y we have a list of the forums that have been eliminated recently? Just so that everyone knows... it'd be insane to list them all, no matter how much I miss Sega battlefield.

I was thinking of posting a topic each time I deleted one, but I didn't think anyone would miss them. Here are the currently inactive forums, which does not include any that have simply been renamed to something else:

</font>
  • Misc.</font>
  • (P)reviews</font>
  • Capcom</font>
  • Sega-Sammy</font>
  • Kirby</font>
  • Ongoing Storyboard</font>
  • Retro</font>
  • Donkey Kong</font>
  • Nintendo 64</font>
  • Nintendo Handheld</font>
  • Square Enix</font>
  • Rare</font>
  • Gamecube</font>
  • Trivia</font>
  • Online Gaming</font>
  • Game Ideas</font>
  • Health</font>
  • Game Stocks, Charts, Statistics</font>
  • Rockstar/GTA</font>
  • LucasArts</font>
  • Science & Technology</font>
Several others are on the radar for deletion. I'm not opposed to bringing any of them back at some point, but if they remain dead after being brought back, they'll be invisibilized again.

...You don't know what Rare is? It's the company that made the Donkey Kong games.

Only Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Land and Donkey Kong 64. Anything before or after that wasn't made by them.

Besides, they have done much more worth mentioning than just their DK games.

Yeah, but they're most widely known for the Donkey Kong series. I haven't played that many Rare games, but I've played most of the Donkey Kong ones. So I think of them as "The Donkey Kong People".

They were pretty widely known for BattleToads and GoldenEye 007.

Ah. Thanks for the list. I guess this forum works, now that it's back @_@. An' Jumi, you really need to know more about Rare. They're also known for Perfect Dark.

Apparently, I've played quite a few of their games, but didn't really pay attention to the fact that they were the ones who made them. I usually skip all the title screens in games that I can, after seeing them once, so...

Rare is a very dirty company. You know that "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" game they put out for the Xbox? Well, Rare is a British company, and over in Britain "ghoulies" is slang for testicles.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

Somebody actually came up with that title before they started making the game. I love Rare's sense of humour.

That's like, the whole reason for the title.
