I know...rather short and insignificant question from a newb, but yes...what is it?

You can click on "Post Reply", and you go to a new page where you can type and edit your wonderful posts, put in a message header, add emoticons, preview your post etc. Then you click on post.

Quick reply is at the bottom of the screen, and you only have to type stuff and hit "post quick reply" to post something. This way, you don't have to go to another page to type your responses.

Indeed, I haven't used the regular reply button since we got the Quick Reply feature. One of the only real improvements over the previous format of the board.
