Question Is ban evasion permitted?

I've noticed that Saeed (and more recently, Bartman) were able to get away with registering an alternate account to skip their ban.

Anyway, what's up with that? What's the point of a ban, if people can just skip it? It kinda takes away the effect of a ban.

yeah, that is true, however shane is far to generous to perma-ban anyone. Even if they have been annoying/spamming/flaming/trolling everyone on the board.

I.e. Yami, who has been banned...
How many times?
Is it a finite number?

Funny how you mention Yami Yoshi as the person who keeps coming back with alternate accounts, when several others have often done so in the past, most notably Nappy and Lupus.

Maybe Shane is just trying to teach Bartman a lesson by taking away the account he has with the most posts.

That doesnt make any sense, Ganon.

Posts or no posts, using an alt account is taking the easy way out. The King (and Loco, if he hasnt already been banned) should be banned also.

Loco has been banned.
If bart can access VGF, why not just keep all his accounts open?

Well, if the admins banned two of Bartman's accounts...shouldn't they ban the third?

We all know he'll just make a fourth account, anyway. That's the problem with him, he just can't take a hint. Besides, with everyone bitching about him, we're just giving him what he wants. Attention. He created the topic for it, and now everybody is giving to him.

Bartman was caught in the act again.

He's been telling SMG that he has The Sims 2 hacks for days now. I asked him a very easy question on the game to see if he even owns it, and he avoided the question, saying that "he doesn't answer to e-sluts".

He obviously didn't learn.

Banned members registering new accounts has been going on for six years to my recollection... it's not a recent phenomenon. They do it because someone will notice and give them massive amounts of attention.
