You know, like a flash arcade type of thing with poker and slot machines and stuff. Actually gambling our points! Wouldn't that sound like fun?

The arcade mods (don't know which) wanted to do something like this but they couldn't. If it's possible to implement, it would be a good feature.

It'd actually put some real competition into the richest users board. As of now, getting a spot on it is pretty much useless as we all put our money into the bank. Gambling can put the risk in points and actually put changes into the rankings! It's just the thing to pull Ace down!

Ace, say it stayed 2%/day. Everyone has the same rate. Ace, say you accumulate a bunch of missed days or take a week off VGF (i.e. leaving forever) You will be surpassed eventually. Still, that's unlikely, so... eh... yeah, drastically reducing the interest rate will cause posts to be worth more and people who post too much (Val, myself, t3hDark, March) will rise fairly high quickly.
