In the VB plaza,I'm trying to buy a default avatar but it is constantly telling me that I don't have enough points to buy one.I have the required amount of points, what's going on?

It may be that:

You don't have enough points. There is a "tax", sort of, that you may need to pay on top of the price
(Item Cost: 4,508.000
Item Tax Percentage: 8.250%
Item Total Cost: 5,026.307)
You need at least 500 posts and to have been here for at least 140 days. (umm... I guess you have that)
