Is there any way to revive Nintendoland?

I've always been curious. What happened to its webmasters, and failing that, could anyone try out to simply resume updates for it? It was a great resource in the old days, and I feel it's a waste that it remains stagnant when all the HTML is still there and everything... although by all means leave it up, if nothing else its archived HTML is interesting to read.

While I'd support the idea, I've never been given the indication that the site will be revived.

Is there any way to contact Mattias? It's something I'd help with, but it's been so long... I'm not even sure if I could ask him if I could help with trying to revive it from the dead. @_@

You do realize that if the original owners come back, they will sue you for taking their stuff without asking.

Right?

No, because by then it will have 10x the info. And thats if they ever come back. Plus i'm not even making money off of it to top it off. And it's been like 5 years.

That isn't Nintendoland, someone has copied it, then added that symbol.

It would be like someone making an Ipod and calling it "I-pod". It isn't right, and it's legal.

Now be good.

Hey, it's better than nothing right? And I must say, they did a pretty good job of it, they are active and really trying. Give them some credit guys. They are taking risks for us, trying to bring back a once good site. Lets see how this progresses ok?

Bringing it back would be convincing the owners of the site to start adding new content. You have been warned about bringing this up; if you continue to post about the copy site you will be banned.

If you don't understand that it is illegal to copy a website and claim it as your own, I suggest you go look up "copyright". If you don't understand why it's wrong to take something and use it without the owner's permission, then I suggest you call up your parents and tell them that they have failed.
