Why is the Donkey Kong forum archived?

Was curious, was it because no one posts there?

Yes. Once a forum goes dormant, and it seems unlikely that it will become active again (only reason I can think of that the Rockstar/GTA forum's still around is that IV is right around the corner), it goes into the archive. You can always talk about the Kongs in Nintendoland Main or Mario Forum...

Ever since Rare was traded, the Donkey Kong series has never had a real good game.

^ Don't count your fowl, yada yada. Nintendo basically invented the sidescroller/platformer.

Ever since Donkey Kong Country 3, the Donkey Kong series has never had a real good game.

It also wasn't interesting. I honestly can say I did not like any of the new characters. Why couldn't Rare just stick with the lame ones they already invented?

If you think that's bad, Nintendo invented even more ones, and they're even more forgettable.

Not to mention DK is doomed to race and bongo for the rest of his life--including partially in smash!
