Is this some sort of 4th of July prank pulled on me???

First I can't log in as myself this morning, no big deal. I go on to work. I come home, to my dismay I see posts made by me that I know for a fact I myself didn't make. Cool my password works again when I get home but wow whenever I log in as Jesus I can't go anywhere because it says "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."

This is only as Jesus and not as my alternate. Anyone wanna explain what the hell has been going on!!???

Sounds like someone stole your password and your account was disabled to prevent further abuse.

Unless Shane or some guy that hasn't been on VGF in months called "Mr. Resetti" decided it would be fun to evade censors, No one on VGF hacked you.

In the more obvious department, years of being an annoying jerk could have come back to hit you, WvsW.

Or maybe it was a hole in reality. We may never know!

Your account is your responsibility. If your password, etc, were so unsecure that it was "hacked", you should be so lucky as to have a banned account at VGF. If you don't return with an entirely new screen name and password after first and foremost completely cleaning your system of viruses and changing all passwords and updating all of your security tech, you shouldn't return at all.

No I find this very weird in the fact that now my alternate screen-name doesn't work and is pulling the same crap on my real username. Timing out after trying to sign in and revisitng saying "The server is busy at the moment" Is this only a coincidence that it has happened with these two screen-names but this one works as well? Are you absolutely sure there is nothing going on behind the scenes screwing me over? I'm not saying anyone is doing this on purpose but it is kind of freaky that shortly after I made this topic as comeonman1111 that it now experiences the same problems as Jesus (albeit minus the weird posts I know I didn't make)

I know my computer is clean as I have Norton 360 and my laptop is extremely secure. My virus definitions are all up to date and there is no indication of a virus by full complete virus scans. I am also positive that there is no spyware or malware on my computer. Only thing left was a low risk tracking cookie but that is standard on vista I believe.

It says that they are logged in but I know for a fact they aren't. I mean, I'm not logged in on them.

If those accounts were hacked, the best you can do is sever ties with them, and that includes using a different email address, etc.

There is honestly no reason for any of the admins to take your word for it, though, especially with the lack of any evidence that this was done by any other person. If your new accounts are not banned outright, you should understand that at least you have not been permanently banned for your intentional violation of the User Agreement. The admins are being more lenient with you than the prior admins of this site would have cared.

I swear the same thing happens to me sometimes.

I usually just shrug it off, though.

It happened to me more than once. It's just odd and I can't figure out a way to explain it any more clearly or what causes it.
