The Mega Man avatars look horrid.

As a spriter, unevenly stretched sprites really grind my gears. I was wondering if someone would maybe remake them. Here's what I had in mind.

Around the time I read "look horrid", I didn't really feel any compelling urge to help out. Maybe if you approached this from a different angle, you know, not indirectly insulting the people who are responsible for said horrid avatars, then just maybe we might be interested.

I'm not especially offended, or anything. Just bemused (and grouchy) that you would put it that way.

Of course, this is just an idea. Not really hoping for anything.

No Chunky, they're just not going to change now out of spite because he insulted whoever took the time to actually make the avatars.

Personally, I think these look very good, but if they get added, then the others should stay as well, at least out of respect for the people who made them....and so that Val can recognize UN...

Might as well keep the ones we have now, or just make them look less...stretched in some places.

These could work pretty good as avatars. CrashMan has served me well. It's only 2-3 and some enemies, though.

No, it's more like he could've said something like please or been at all tactful, and the admins probably don't otherwise really care if they get changed at all in the meantime. Being polite makes people very responsive, you know.

If you guys are personally interested, I could always offer to draw some custom avatars for donating and veteran members to have access to, similar to how I've done NPC graphics for the VB RPG. Personally, I do think the site could benefit from some flashier graphics, but that's not me saying I've got a plan for improvement.

No. His opinion isn't important, it's the rudeness with which it was expressed that makes the difference.

DZ, if you really want something done, just take into consideration that you're asking for a favour from the people responsible for making those images in the first place. Politeness goes a long way when you're requesting an otherwise unnecessary change (ie. the rest of us don't care and would be just as satisfied doing nothing).
