Why can't I search words that are very common, too long, or too short?

Just curious.

I'm thinking that it's a bandwidth thing, or that it would simply bog down the server.

If anyone really knows why, I'd like to know.

Yeah, I've never been quite too sure. Disappointing when I want to search "AI" or something in a forum.

Very Common: Those are words like to, and, or, but, the, through, about...searching for prepositions & conjunctions rarely brings meaningful results unless it's part of a quote. Plus, nearly every thread will have them.

Length: Weak search engine.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I wanted to search for a topic with the keyword "AIM" or something one time. I have an old account with a big, inactive buddy list from a decade ago so I wanted to bug some people who have one these days.
