Forum Changes Comments

Keep up the good work. The less dead forums there are sitting around, the more the remaining activity can be pooled together to make the remaining forums more alive.

On a side-question, does anyone know why this VBB system freaks out when things hit 25 pages? Someone claimed VBB can handle more, but that makes me wonder if there's some weird issue with plug-ins here or something?

I'm still adjusting to the Misc. Forum being the one on top again, but otherwise, it's all good.

^^The 25 page thing was actually a UBB issue. The current vBulletin setup doesn't have that same vulnerability, but we keep it up out of a mixture of tradition & practicality.

Sorry, Ace! I should have checked Wikipedia for spelling instead of Google. When I typed in "mounty" and got the result I wanted, I didn't think that it had just redirected me to "mountie".

Reorganization continues to look good. It's nice to see there is some life with that, as after a while I was afraid it'd just sit around in the post-2007 messy configuration forever. >_>

I think this is a good move; having dead/inactive forums hanging around just makes more crap to scroll past.

My thoughts:

Rockstar/GTA forum, Call of Duty forum, and Guitar Hero/Rock Band forum could probably all be assimilated into General Gaming. Those forums are hardly active enough to warrant their own territory.

Battleboard and Roleplaying Forum are barely ever touched and could possibly be combined. (Or scrapped. And while you are at it, renaming the Gunjin with a more recognizable name {I.E. Roleplaying Forum} would make it easier for more people to find)

A lot of the Other Entertainment forums could be combined. Only a few are frequented. Perhaps a more vague, general forum such as Entertainment Forum or something.

Procrastination Forum? Really? You should get rid of it. Maybe tomorrow or next week or something.

The whole Member Forums area should probably get a trim, come to think of it.

Excellent work so far, I approve the changes wholeheartedly.

plz- Don't touch the MUGEN forum, damit, I have plans for that place.

My suggestions would be to relocate the kirby forum topics to the Nintendo forum, or to possibly make it a sub forum.

Also, does the things that rule forum really fit in venting? I mean the tTSF should be together with it, but I just don't see it fitting there. :/

Otherwise, I like them being grouped together.
