Remove the 10 Image Limit

I don't see a problem with letting posts have more than 10 images. We're not in the AOL era anymore.

um but why do we still need the limit, new posters cant even use images so they can't spam the forums

I seems to recall some of our members still having 56k modems; high image counts are torturous for them.
Besides, the limit already has been raised; it used to be 8.

removing the image count isn't going to mean every post has 60 images.

it also doesn't actually stop image spam see: pony spam thread.

If you double post and the number of images in both posts adds up to more than ten, then the posts won't merge.

the point is i don't want to have to double/triple/quadruple post to make a table of contents. also that'd require a new thread and i don't see why this is a problem honestly

it literally took me like 20 minutes to remember what that acronym meant i think this indicates that it hasn't been relevant in forever

also its plenty easy to spam with just 10 images
