The Cell saga was painful to watch, along with the second half of the Freeza saga. Long, boring fights and pointless "leveling up" killed the series.

Yeah, well the thing about DBZ is you had to accept the drawn out dramatics to like the story I guess. Then again, I thought this was the coolest thing ever 6 years ago.

Gohan is such a retard. His character was infamous for being whiny and not strong enough, only in bursts...then he turns SSJ2 and he doesn't even finish off Cell before things go bad again. Way to go kid. Then he goes and tries to save Vegeta and gets one of his arms blasted.

I used to watch DBZ after school in middle school....I thought it was the shiz, but I also thought that not enough plot happened during a single episode. I had to watch like two or three to be satisfied.
