It's annoying though, when my 'rents want me off the comp to go read it...I don't like to half-ass my work, and if I were to go read it now I'd probably skim through 20 pages without absorbing anything.

I've never heard that. I hear it as "I can't do that for s***", which also doesn't make much sense if you want to be literal.

I'm completely out of ideas when it comes to this report. My teacher has it set up in a really strange manner, too. The first paragraph has to have theme, then the second paragraph has to have historical context, the third summary, the fourth for characterization, the fifth for conflict, the sixth for figurative language, the seventh for words I don't know (wtf?), the eighth for possible essay topics, and the ninth for an analysis of an essay related to the book. It took me an hour just to bulls*** through one and a half paragraphs using obscure words and sentence structures, I have no idea how I'm going to do it for the rest of the "essay." This is due Thursday, too, god damn it.
