Which means I have the weekend to find a better monologue than the one I have (I'm not sure it's a good enough one), and memorize it. But, finding the perfect monologue is so difficult. I might just end up sticking with the one I already have, except I have to figure out how I want to do it. If I'm not careful, I'll ruin it. *sigh* |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | Look on the bright side, you unwittingly got a point...though I'm fairly sure the person you're auditioning for wouldn't give a damn. ![]() Weekend. Right. I swear I keep thinking we're a day ahead. Yesterday I thought it was Friday, and I was about to say "Um you only have 1 day ZG..." Unwarranted stress, if you ask me. You'll most likely get the part, you just need ignorant people like myself to provide blind optimism. *looks at tally board* |

| Away With Words | Good luck with your auditions. I once memorized Ice Cube's dialougue at the end of Boyz n tha Hood and Musiq Soulchild's "justfriends (sunny)" to audition for the school musical. Then I forgot to audition. |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | I memorized a French poem backwards, mainly cause my teacher yelled at me for suggesting extra credit cause he didn't think it could be done. |

| Away With Words | French teachers are known for having bad attitudes. At least where I'm from. I took Spanish... now I'mma be taking Chinese. |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | Thanks for reminding me of Jin. Or should I say the Emcee. |

| Away With Words | Jin bit DasEFX's beat from "They Want EFX." But then again, Jin could riggity-rap circles around diggity-DasEFX. |

| Away With Words | Nah, but I heard him freestyle with Cassidy. He just... tore holes in people. |

| Away With Words | I heard it was good. I know The Rest Is History was awful... |

| Away With Words | Just do Cuba Gooding Jr.'s part from Jerry McGwire. Easy part. Four words long. Just yell it out. |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | So what exactly makes it harder than any other role you've auditioned for? I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about acting, but I'm sure if you go through the same rituals you usually do there shouldn't be a problem, especially since you've done it before. Sorta like, an incumbency factor...but not really. So could you summarize the main characteristics of this character in 3-5 sentences? SHOW ME THE MONEY ![]() |
