I've liked the same girl for over two years, but promised myself I wouldn't ask her out until I could drive. Now, a week before my driver's test, I find out she's already been dating someone for a couple months. So, you know. Words of solace would be appreciated. |

So I promised myself that I wouldn't date anyone until I got my license, so as to avoid being a hypocrite. This proved to be a poor decision, as you can see. So it's really nobody's fault but my own. But it still completely sucks and I'm sad. |

I totally get it. And I'm sorry things didn't work out. |

Fortunately she doesn't seem too scared of me now even though I sort of said I liked her, and we're having normal conversations. So I've just got to wait it out or find someone else. I'm holding up pretty well, actually, even though it makes me sad to think about them together. But... yeah, thanks for your support. |

Never know what your future will hold, though, so good luck finding someone special. *hug* ...I'm married and I still don't have my licence. Some manner of driving phobia/anxiety makes it hard for me to drive on the roads. I have always been fine to drive around on a farm (though I haven't in a long while), it's just the prospect of having so many things around to potentially crash into that makes me weird. >_< |

Unless maybe he came down and took you places, I don't know. But for a high school kid like me, it's pretty important. |
