There have been many, many recent post about people having problems with their love lives, not just the netizens of VGF, but many of my friends here in Nebraska.

Please all of you just once try to be direct with yourselves and with the person you love. If you can not then you are not mature enough for the relationship and should simply give it time to cool.

The average human lives to be over the age of seventy now and that average climbs every day. There is plenty of time to find what you are looking for.

Disregard this if you will, but your lives will seem much less dismal with only a little bit of time spent examining yourself.

I've always felt I didn't want to devote the time. Maybe that makes me a bit selfish, but I think it would be more selfish to have a girlfriend and then ignore her.

I hope this wasn't partially directed at me. If it was, I'll defend myself.

Basically, I know that what happened was entirely my fault, and I'm okay with that. I know it's just a high school crush thing, but it's still pretty tragic from my point of view. So I'm being plenty "direct" with myself.
