I gotsa problem...

You know I had a relationship with Jessica last year. It didn't work out. Recently, I've been going after Karen, but she isn't interested. Now, I've fallen for another one of my friends...

I've made a good amount of friends this past year. Rebecca, Teddie... and there's one other, Jackie. The problem is, I have a crush on her. (Also, if you're wondering why I've never mentioned Rebecca, Teddie, or Jackie, it's because I've never found a reason to until now.)

(Yes, they're real people.

Now, we're pretty good friends. She's on the same level as Karen with me. We talk a lot. But I've started to grow feelings for her. However, I'm so afraid that if I tell her, she'll never look at me the same way again. I'm not just afraid, I'm ****ing scared. I want to tell her, but I feel like I can't.

Help?

Well, things are never exactly the same after telling someone that you have feelings for them, what you need to ask yourself is if you feel comfortable enough with this person that you can tell her such a thing without things becoming awkward. It's not really a matter of if you can or not, it has more to do with if it's really something that you want. I'd suggest (if you haven't done so already) doing some one-on-one things that aren't necessarily "dates" per se, but just hang out with her and get a sense of what you feel comfortable discussing with her.

Well, I told Jackie, and she took it pretty well, but we've decided to just remain friends. I'm fine with that. Plus, she lives all the way in another town, so we wouldn't get to hang out much...
