Now was she blowing me off did she not know what I meant by "Can I have your number" or was she wierded out since I'm her friend, I need some advice what should I do. |

Don't take it to mean too much. If she's your friend, it shouldn't be an issue for you to have her number. You can always offer her your phone number first, and ask her to give you a call to hang out sometime. Maybe you can suggest seeing a movie with a group of friends, as well as her, so she feels comfortable, then see how you go from there. |

She could be shy, she could be avoiding saying "no", she could be nervous and said something she didn't mean, or, yes, she could have been telling the truth. The only way to make sure is to ask, like, ask her. Try to not settle for a mysterious answer, but you shouldn't interrogate her. Be prepared not to fly off the handle; consider all possible answers she could give and ask yourself if you really want to know. |

When I was young I didn't have a cell phone at his age, therefore we had no need for getting one another's numbers. I didn't even get a cell phone until the summer before I started high school. |
