At High School, which I just started about a week ago, I'm seeing so many more people each day than before. And especially so many different kinds of people. Especially a bunch of punk-like people and oh so many people with with outlandish hair. It's like an entire Federation. One girl amongst them I've began to like. Who has bloody crimson hair and the whole 30% goth look going on. And apparently a bit of a lack of conversational skills. But whatever! MOVING ON the trope is that people hear a chorus of trumpeting angels or something when they see the Right Girl. Whenever I look at this girl, I hear Radiohead, King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, Primus and Incubus. What does it mean? Probably that I'm subconsciously attempting to subvert the trope and adapt it to the hipster/indie/punk atmosphere that is being exuded here. Which is remarkable, that The Feelings are powerful enough to subconsciously bring out an artsy/experimental/pretentious side in me (Even though it doesn't exactly lie dormant) without warning. Also discovered my own strange tastes. And you know what? It's awesome. But unfortunately, I'm probably slightly too straight, normal-appearing for her. And have no guts. But this is a good experience for all intents and purposes. Once again, Awesome. / /![]() Last edited by Vapor; 09-10-2008 at 02:27 PM. Reason: Ah Yes! Can't forget Porcupine Tree. |

I should know, I'm one of those "different" folks. |

Don't let it bother you. If you get along well, it doesn't make any difference what clothes you wear and what colour you dye your hair. |

Silly, but applicable. I'm actually being serious this time. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Eh, too slow, too little. You could say this makes me feel a little...LET DOWN, HANGING AROUND, CRUSHED LIKE A BUG IN THE GROUND... *ba-dum Pssshhh* Last edited by Vapor; 09-12-2008 at 03:09 PM. |
