It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally in a couple. I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather be with. I'm really excited and optimistic, but still nervous that I'll manage to screw this up. If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom, I humbly ask for your aid.

Always communicate with your partner. Be involved in things together, even if that means you get dragged along to something you don't necessarily like.

Spend time together. Laugh together. Remember to keep doing special little things for each other, no matter how long you've been dating.

Congratulations! New relationships are so exciting and fun. Don't worry about things not working out. The more you worry, the more you'll mess up. Find the little things that make you both laugh, make inside jokes, never stop laughing at each other, and just have fun. If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right.

Well, I must say, seeing how many VGF members are now either in relationships or are on the crush train is saddening. I've not been 'lovedrunk' in my entire life, and I haven't had a crush in a pretty good while (or at least one that was marginably attainable), so I wouldn't know how awesome this must be. But I wish you luck, as I should; a relationship is a beautiful thing, if you can keep the ship afloat.
