My stepdad has a PS3 and he loves playing games. He has been a Sonic and Legend of Zelda fan since he was little (but he thinks Sonic sucks now :P), and he plays SSBB with me. He likes Nintendo, but he is dissapointed in the Wii's lack of good games coming out. He works at Gamestop, so I discounts and game rentals. ![]() My mom also plays games, too. She loves playing Mario Kart Wii with me, and she likes Zelda, Tetris and Dr. Mario. She also... here it comes... PLAYS GOD OF WAR. She beat the first one, and is currently working on the second one. She can't wait for 3. ![]() __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? Last edited by Luigiman7; 12-20-2008 at 08:21 PM. |

It's awesome. She doesn't play as much anymore. Mario Party occasionally, but she's too busy now... |

My dad played arcade games when he was younger (he claims he used to dominate Asteroids), and more recently PC first-person shooters like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D. My mom has three brothers, all of which grew up in the era of Atari 2600 and NES and later SNES and Sega. My mom says she used to play Super Mario Kart with them but not much more. Of course, both my parents have been up off their feet fairly often with the Nintendo Wii. They don't play a lot of serious games for the Wii but enjoy more casual games like Wii Sports and Mario Kart Wii. |

Not much else, though he often plays Tiger Woods on the Wii. Mother's not much of a gamer at all. HOWEVER. My aunt Leticia, mother of three of my favorite cousins(pretty much all the cousins I know are my faves... the reason I say this is because there are cousins I don't know), is a hardcore gamer, particularly in the genres of Survival Horror and Hack n Slash. __________________ |

I think she also played a bit of Super Mario Bros. as well. Not sure what my brother is into. His tastes seem to vary. I didn't even think he was into RPGs, but sure enough he's played Tales of Vesperia. I think he's now into action games like Prince of Persia. |

When she has access to my computer, she also likes to take the high score spots in all of my puzzle games. I'm still trying to make it back to the top in bejeweled and minesweeper. |

My dad was the first in the family to beat all the SMB games up until Mario World, when he dropped off. We coax him to play again every now and again, but he says he's "missed too much" to get back into it. Once in a while he'll surprise us by throwing out some comment such as "Hey, isn't that the music for the airships in SMB3?" or he'll start humming the SMB2 overworld theme. |

However, the most credit goes to my uncles. They taught me how to play games, and thus created the only thing I'm passionate about. That doesn't mean I can't totally kick their butts in Soul Calibur, though. |

They kind of came from a different time/culture/country, so that puts a damper on the gaming side of things. ![]() |

However, now she's a big computer gamer and doesn't really like controllers too much anymore. My dad and technology should not be used in the same sentence. |
