Well, a few weeks ago, I worked 2 events back to back. The first one was a wedding, and the second one was a holiday party. Anyway, after the wedding, some new people came in to replace the ones who were working the wedding, yet I stayed around for the whole day. One of the girls that came in for the holiday party I was really feeling. We started flirting basically the whole night, and she was very attractive. My mom let me leave a little early though since I had worked the whole day, and the girl was on the floor still working so I basically forgot about getting her number since I was so focused on leaving being tired as hell working a 13 hour day. So I figure out an hour later that I never got the girl's number, and by this time the whole event is over, and she leaves. Now I know that my mom has her number cause it's her employee, but I'm thinking it's creepy to call her. I realize the longer I wait, the more awkward it would be if I called her, but it turns out I waited a few weeks and am still contemplating it. I looked for her on myspace/facebook, but she doesn't have one. There's a slim chance that I will end up seeing her again over break as there's no more events planned until I'm back at school, and I probably won't be back for a couple months. I'm interested to hear opinions on this. |

How well does does your mom know her outside of the work relationship, if at all? It seems like calling might be the only option at this point, it's just a matter of the degree of awkwardness...based on how long you wait and how well your mom knows her. Wish I could be of more help. |

The more casual you make it, the less likely she'll take it as a creepy thing- just call and say hey, I remembered that it was fun to have you around at work, do you want to catch up and *insert appropriate entertainment* (have a coffee/see a movie with friends/go skating/whatever you do). Good luck, dude. |
