What Are Your Parents Like?

There are so many types that I can't even include a poll. Ok, fine I'll add the most generic and general poll possible for the most part. However, if you vote you must include a reason, no exceptions. Trust me, I'll know....

My parents are pretty cool, I guess. I mean compared to most, they're not as worrisome or annoying or anything. My dad is a complete germophobe, though, and my mom can nag a lot.

But, you know. They're alright.

My Parnents are delicious.

They're flaky, they have melty cheese inside, THEY'RE LIP-SMACKINGLY GOOD.

My "parnents" are like Tim Allen and Roseanne Barr.

In a good way, though.

I think the fact that the poll's title says "parents" instead of parnents should give you a hint. Also, the fact that there is no such word from what I know as "parnent", it is almost obvious that the typo was with the thread title.

My "parnents" are pretty chill. They don't nag at me. I guess it helps that I'm also 23 years old.

To I REALLY HATE POKEMON

I told you I would know if you didn't give reasons for your choice...I will find you and when I do....You can drink some tea I made. I accidentally made too much and figured you might want some.

My parents are awesome. My mom is a gamer and a romance writer, and she's really cool and plays the piano as well.

My dad is an insane frenchie. x{DDDD

Also, in addition to being crazy and awesome, they let me have freedoms and they trust me, so I can have a lot of fun. I like my parents.

Allow me to be more clear.
I will never trust my parents and they have never trusted me.

Trust is the most important relationship between a parent and child.
If you can not trust your parents, then can you trust anyone?

OOOooooohhh... I get it now. And no- if you don't trust your parents then you can still trust people. Just because the two people that gave you life weren't trusting doesn't mean the other 17 odd billion people (something like that) in the world aren't trustable. Trust me-my mom had UNIMAGINABLY horrible parents.

But yeah, I get what you're saying now.

One parent is awesome.

The other is the incarnation of mental instability, failure, and ignorance.

This poll, therefore, fails to give me an applicable option, for parents... are actually two different people, who may or may not have the same approval rating from their children.

Give an average/find the median then. Does the bad parent outweigh the other making them combined horrible or the oppisite? Are the combined good from one and bad from the other equal to make it inbetween?

My parents are pretty cool. We're all really weird, so I guess that's ok.
