Val is a playa.

But even a playa needs help sometimes.

Okay, so a while back I met this girl (let's call her Girl A). She's cute, she's nice, she lives a town over, and she has a thing for me. But when we me, she was already dating this other fellow. So, I decided that she wasn't the one for me, and that I would look for another girl. That's when I met Girl B. She's also cute, nice, and has a thing for me, but she lives over in the Dalles, which is a two-hour drive from where I live. Nevertheless, we both expressed interest in each other, and a little something had begun to develop between us... nothing official, though.

Now, by today. Girl A's boyfriend lived in California, and could only visit every once in a while, so just recently they called it off due to not being able to deal with the long distance. So Girl A is now available, and she still has a thing for me. However, I feel like I already have too strong a bond with Girl B, even though she lives pretty far away and for the time being, there isn't much we can do about it.

Basically, there's Girl A, who likes me and I like back, and lives very close. Then, there's Girl B, who likes me and I like back, but lives fairly far away. I feel like Girl B and I have already developed our feelings for each other pretty well, although at the time being it's just that and nothing more, we aren't really dating yet. I'm worried that things between Girl B and I might get too difficult if we live so far apart.

I'm not planning on doing anything drastic just yet. I'm still gonna wait and see how things go. I'm not the kind of guy who lies to a girl, or has two girls at once. I also wouldn't let a girl down unless it was the best thing for the both of us. So, until I have more information, any advice? Thoughts? It's nothing urgent yet, so don't worry. I could just use some outside input.

I was hoping for Val getting dirty with Disney princesses

Anyway, I would see how things with Girl B plays out. I can sort of help you with this because my last relationship was pseudo-long distance (50 minute train ride), plus I couldn't go to where she lived because she was a live in nanny and her real home was up in Syracuse. If it looks like things are getting to the point where there's a real fixation and you can't handle the distance, just let her know (that's part of what ended my past relationship, she was so fixated on me but I was so busy and it was a schlep to see her).

Also, I didn't know you lived in Oregon, Val. Have you ridden the MAX Light Rail? If so, how is it? -CSM

^ DARN YOU BRINGING TRAINS INTO MY TOPIC

Yeah, I've ridden the MAX before. It's pretty cool, I guess. Just like an above-ground subway.

Why not have both? That's what a player would do.

It's up to you, dude. If you like your "Girl B" then don't do anything to hurt her. You'll regret that more than not getting with the other one.

Right now, I'm sticking with Girl B. I'm not gonna lead Girl A on or anything, but I will leave her open as an option in the future, should it lead there.

I'm gonna give Girl B a go. We're both really into each other, anyways. I think we'd just be better off.
