| Senior Member | I realize that having friends is too much of a chore at 22 years old... I just don't want to deal with the people around me that claim to be my friends. I actually am just as happy entertaining myself at home. I'm sick of getting taken advantage of and sick of people bitching over little things such as "Oh you told him I was gonna wait ten minutes to clock out" when he asked me what you said to me he obviously already heard it so shut up bitch! He didn't care either but to her it's such a huge deal. Did she ask me to keep it a secret? No. But she likes blowing **** like that out of proportion obviously because she is paranoid like ****. I guess you can say that was the last straw. I've given up on friends because I don't want to deal with all the drama and bull**** that people here just like attracting to themselves. I'm just as happy sitting at home by myself or going out drinking at night and not worrying about anything. |

XD Good friends, however, are hard to find. I'm awesome at being a hermit because all my best friends are through VGF and thus, live far away. Except the three in my house, of course. And my caaaats. :3 So I pretty much agree. It's totally easier to just hangout at home than try to find people who won't be idiots about everything. |

Seriously, though, whatever you think would help you find friends you can relate to and enjoy being around, do it. They don't even have to be friends you have IRL, they can live wherever. I have friends on 5 different continents. |

| Senior Member | I truly am grateful for VGF. We may get on eachother's nerves when we disagree but in reality we all love eachother over VGF unconditionally. IRL, however, people feel they need to bring drama to themselves for attention and turn everything into a big deal. When they do that and try to argue with me, I just ignore whoever it is because it is healthier to ignore it than to argue back because that is what they want is to see you angry. |

I'd trust those guys with my life because I know they feel the same, but that's about it. Other than that, I've got numerous acquaintances, but I'm not sure if I could trust them that well. |

When you do find them, they're worth it-- friends are people who you can laugh with, hang out with, talk to, and most importantly, trust. |

Granted, I'm not 22, but I have a constant desire to be around people and I don't see that changing any time soon. But hey, there's nothing wrong with that if you prefer being more subdued. |

But sometimes Panfan needs some space. There's also a difference in who I hang out with. Some people I could hang out with for days and some I can't last an hour. |

Let me spell it out: I tell jokes like that. ALL THE TIME. And there are still people who voluntarily--nay, happily--spend time in my company. People like that are always worth hanging onto. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Too bad for me, but whatcha gonna do? I'm not asking SD to move to the US with the economy out of sorts over there. We have a decent rental house and jobs here. |

Oddly, that's a lot of people, and I never seem to be without a sort of group of people existing around me. |
