My friend has some pretty controling parents... HE got a B+ on his test and lost all of his things, his dad makes him study for nearly 6-7+ hours a day and can get angry pretty easily. His mom can also me a little overprotective at times as well... He finally confided to me that he was feeling depressed lately, but he doesn't act it. In fact, he acts as he normally does, but does seem down occasionally. He doesn't enjoy coming home... I think he just neede someone to tell his troubles to, and we are best friends. But he is still however, troubled by his parents. If I were him I would have stood up to my parents by now, but he is Hindu and it is against his religion to rebel against his parents. Any suggestions? |

It's a conflict between him and his parents, so really the only way seems to be for him to talk to them. It doesn't have to be from a rebellious stance, but he needs to talk to him. Keep standing by him :{) |

Just keep helping him, you know, hang out with him more. |
