I was a real ********, mostly because I wanted to sleep. Some people just thought I was scary. When I was in elementary; I seemed to be considered the teacher's pet because I did well. I imagine I have a higher standing with my circle of friends these days. Not that I even care about it, really. Confidence makes a person, I suppose. ![]() |

Elementary School: in Illinois, the kids thought I was 'weird'. First time in Florida, they thought I was 'gay'. Wisconson, they thought I was so cool, having lived in Florida. 'Course, I was a little asshat, but what's done is done. Second time in Florida I made friends with the 'nerdy, weirdo' kids. Middle School: I was the annoying kid who'd slump and make an ass out of himself just for a few minutes of attention. When I got held back, the sixth graders looked up to me. High School: when I got out of homeschool, I was pale, looked unhealthy, and had glue on my glasses. People thought I was creepy and would end up blowing the school up a la Columbine or something and people who once treated me like dirt, like, started hallowing the ground I walked on. This year, I'm the scary guy who carries a spoon in his coat and everyone wants to either take a picture of me, hug me, or be spooned by me. What was the question, again? | |

In my opinion, I think just having friends that you like and can hang out with is enough.I don't feel popular, but I'm happy. ![]() |

You know, back in the good ol' days where the only social groups were boys, girls, and teachers' pets. :P To avoid taking up space, look at Tub's "Like any child would..." paragraph of his post. Then, middle school. My friends consisted of the kids in my neighborhood and a few friends who lived farther away but who had been in many of my classes over the years. Not much to say here. I was basically a guy nobody liked. Okay, so I, just by looks, seemed like a HUGE nerd. Today, high school, the majority of my friends are, of course, in band with me. As for when I don't have classes with them, I'm usually the quiet smartass who won't say anything unless I have reason. Then there's the classes with my friends where we give the teacher hell. |

I have mood swings, I listen to a lot of different music, and I dress differently depending on how I feel. I don't fit in anywhere, and I don't feel the need to. I don't want to be just another "punk" or "prep" or "goth" or "skater" or "nerd", and I hope I never lose that. |

Gender: Posts: 3,010 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Recently, I seem to have been accepted into a group consisting of mainly pagans (my friend from Hastings is in their group, so that's kind of how I got in.) How do I know this? Well, I've been "Sharpie killed" (Yeah, don't ask) and they all keep calling me Andi, and no one else IRL has ever done that except for family. So...yay. =D |
