I will give you some advice from a girls point of view...you need to suck it up and tell her! When you do, there are some guidlines...it can't be over the phone or on-line. you need to do it in person and it would be sweet if you brought her to lunch. When you are ready to tell her let her know you want to talk to her about something and then let her know that you like her and why you like her. You do run the risk of rejection but if you guys are friends she won't be "freaked out" or anything. I love it when guys take a chance and let me know. Most guys are to chicken to say anything so you will be standing out when you do.

Agreed! Though it is human nature to be nervous...you've gotta suck it in and show no weakness. I agree, take her out to lunch! You go in there with all the confidence that you have. If you ever have doubts, keep telling yourself that you're the Limousine ridin, jet flyin, kiss stealin, wheelin, dealin son of a gun (yes, I stole a page out of Ric Flair's bit, if anyone caught on by now) But you give it your all son. What do you have to lose? Sure, rejection is a possibility, but that's risk you have to take! Like all of these other guys have said before me. Give it a crack!

The thing with this girl, that gets me confused, is that she acts in ways around me, in which I can't seem to determine whether she likes me or just considers me a very close friend.

(Oh, and I've had lunch with her many times)

Considering my brother has been dating girls right and left for the past God knows how long, I would think that even if this doesn't work out, there's always going to be something else. Hey, it could take a year.

But it sounds like right now she may be willing. Indeed it is hard to talk to girls, but hey, I find it's easier to talk to her the way you would talk to her at your lunches.

And don't fear rejection. It would be better to still have her as a friend than to lose her completely.

A lunch is better than something that sounds really 'datey' like the movies or such...I think if you two are friends then she probably won't say no, and then you have the outing to work out how the two of you stand.
