| Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2001 Location: Maryland Gender: Posts: 81 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | I need a guys point of view Ok... There is this guy I am friends with. I have liked him since before graduation last year( He got a girlfriend the day before..) they broke up like 2 months ago and the same day that he broke up with her, he called my cell phone but didn't leave a message. when we talked a few days later we decided to go out to lunch. The lunch went pretty good, but ever since then we haven't been able to see eachother and we only get to talk a few days a week. when i was walking around walmart, i had a random idea(what with the valentines junk sitting in front of me) that I would buy him a small box of candy( it says i choo choo choose u...its from a simpson episode) and i would type up a note telling him everything. I was then going to pay someone to go to his work at the bowling alley and give it to him. Now this is where you come in! 1. does it sound like he could like me by how he has been acting? 2. Should I go through with my plan/should I change it somehow? 3. I have been contemplating whether i should sign it or not. If i don't and put in the note that if he thinks he knows who it is then to call, it would show some interest in me if he called and knew it...if i sign my name its i guess, scarier. I just dont know! |

Best case scenario, he immediately gives you a huge moviekiss and you two begin feeding each other the chocolates. Worst case scenario, he ends the friendship, which means he doesn't deserve you. Anything in between works out in your favor, so go for it. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | As a single 20-something engineering student without any romatic experience, I feel like I have the authority to answer: 1. Yeah, he could like you. Why not? 2. The giving-chocolates part of the plan sounds fine; everyone likes chocolates (except those allergic). Personally, I would prefer that someone would give it herself, though, so I could thank her immediately. 3. I think you should sign it (unless you're scrapping the whole note thing in favour of face-to-face conversation). Unless you have overtly told him your feelings before, or you think he is preternaturally gifted in reading minds, he might not have an idea who it's from. If you do that "guess who?" sort of thing, it would provide some sort of insurance for you, but could also provide some humourous sitcom moments. Maybe, he thinks it's a prank from one of his other friends and throws it out. Or, like, the note goes missing, and he doesn't call, and then you proceed to hit him with a golf club, or something. Anyways, point is that it complicates things. |
