You know, Val-iant, you may be better off as friends. I have never had a friend tell me that "they have lost interest" and then stop talking, I haven't had a friend that made me feel bad, and I don't have to worry about them leaving. I don't even pay them. If you and this girl end up as something other than friends,then youd most likely end up ruining your friendship. If you think about it,casual friendships are much more stable.

I know how you feel. I think my friendship with someone has been ruined because of something like this. She was the one who wanted to be more than friends, but I was actually happy she said what I didnt. Now, everytime I try to say something to her I make an ass of myself. I also feel guilty for resenting my best friend for having a crush on her when I was just her friend, because I wouldn't ay anything to her about what I felt and I was jealous of her attention to him. That was before she said what she wanted to say to me, of course. So really, get too close and you might be burned.

Dude think of it this way. You asked a friend to deliver her a note that led you two to meeting each other is a NO NO but it is still working I mean you guys still talk right? I mean she does not ignore you or something like that so the solution is very easy or the answer is very easy man you just need to talk about something else not about the grades and stuff give her something to talk about something she NEEDS to EXPOUND like why is your name like that no seriously umm like how are you today? What have you been doing lately? and if she answers all that give her "are you gona be busy later" and "wanna spend some time at some place" if you get the positive answers then she is interested if not I would say she isnt or you might wanna try again just ask very casual open questions at first and narrow them down in the end. Advice for anyone else in this situation, based on my experience a few months ago...

Whatever you do, don't confess your feelings to her during a hug. I've found it's hard to be truthful to a guy when my body's mashed up against his.

Also, don't ask her, "Do you like me?" Because it's hard for her to say no if she needs to. Instead, say, "I like you."
