I got into a fight I really didn't want to get into

I couldn't control myself,and got into a fight with some guy who called my girlfriend a slut.I don't usually like to fight but when I'm pissed well I can't help it. and he called her a slut because she's had serveral other boyfriends before me.

Yeah, I can see that. You really don't want to fight because it's wrong. I mean, it's fine to ignore someone when they diss you-- just walk away.

But when they say something horrible like that about someone you know or love, that could cause reflexes that you wouldn't cause if you were thinking strait. Fighting is still never a good option, but in this case, I can see how that would provoke you to do something you normally would not.

I'm sorry to hear about that... sometimes one wrong decision can affect you for weeks or months to come. Hope it all turns out ok...
