Its a cool idea, but for those of us who already have a advance or sp, it would be a waste of money to buy it, So, was it in nintendos best interest to make it? Also, do you think the retro games are unessesary?

Donkey Kong was probably the most useless as 1. There's only 3 levels that loop. 2. It was re-released on E-Reader, and those cards can be picked up very cheap now. And 3. Animal Crossing, need I say more? Now, Super Mario Bros., that's a game I want. Zelda, I guess that's ok, considering you don't have it on the Collector's Edition on GC. Bomberman, Xevious, good ideas again. Pac-Man, you can go online and play it for free. Ice Climber, again, like Donkey Kong, except that has more levels and such, making it better.

Retro GBASP? I want it! That contest in Nintendo Power for those classic games is something to look forward to. Still, some people would sell their old GBAs for the money for it. Heh...

By the way, one of the people here is a GameFAQer. Give yourself a cookie if you figure it out before I say who it is in the topic.

Zelda's the only one that is really worth the money. The SP is worth it only if you don't already have an SP if you only have a GBA get hte SP it's far better.

I personally think the Zelda's only worth it if you don't own the Zelda Collector's Edition. Why? Because the only reason I think it would be is because of the NES battery issue. If you have the Zelda Collector's Edition, you already have the problem of the battery in your NES cartridge dying taken care of.

I would rather just play the games on my NES. I really dont know if it was in Nintendo's "best interest."

...okay, let me rephrase that; the person who goes to GameFAqs, enjoys it, never regretted going there, and has been in the poison vat so long he argues like a two-year-old.

I'd go buy SP NES games. Although, my NES is dead already, so I already have a retro SP already.

Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda would be the only noteworthy additions (I think) to you GBA library, considering that you don't have the Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition Or Animal Crossing (And Action Replay to unlock The Super Mario Bros. and The legend of Zelda items in AC). However, Japan has release dates for second and third editions of The NES (or FDS to them) Game Boy Advance carts. These include very noteworthy games, such as Japan only releases, like Super Mario Bros. 2: the Lost Levels and The Famicom Detective Series (well, maybe). However, There are no U.S. release dates for these editions, and even if they are released in the U.S., I do not know if Nintendo will be courteous enough to include These Japan-Exclusive titles. We'll all have to hold our breath (especially England and Austrailia).

The Lost Levels isn't a Japan exclusive; it's playable via Super Mario All-Stars.

They should also release the NES Fire emblem games. Although, I've seen a screen shot, and Marth is Scary looking.

They should port the SNES version of the original Fire Emblem. Marth was cute in that one.

Yeah, but I read that that version had another story starring Marth, and some original levels were left out.

They should just port the entire Fire Emblem series and silence the cries of those that want to see the Marth and Roy games. I would buy em.
