The screen was a blackish-red and everything else was shown in bringt red lines... it was almost like some N64 games, but it was also a mite difficult to discern... |

It's not mint condition (the stand's a little broken) but it runs like a dream. It has some great games; along with 'Wario Land', there's also 'Galactic Pinball', 'Panic Bomber', and, of course, 'Mario Clash' (one of my favourite games ever). |

I remember playing with the VB display every time I went to Blockbuster. I thought it was pretty cool but really weird. They were ahead of their time. |

It might have done better if that retarded Tiger R-Zone didn't come out at the same time. It used a red LCD display, and had a wearable headset, so some people seemed to associate one with the other. I can't tell you how much that thing looked like it sucked. Wario Land for the Virtual Boy was one hell of a game, though. Too little, really. The others all suffered from reduced production. Mario Clash wasn't just going to be some sort of remake of the original Mario Bros. game, it was going to have other level types, too. ![]() |

I remember in 95, going into Blockbuster and they had one set up for a demo. I got it that year and still only have the two games that came with it - Mario Tennis and Wario Land. |

I was so excited at the time. I never did get it though unfortunately. Just thought I would share a childhood memory. |

It was very uncomfortable to play and the controller wasn't the best. Not that I don't like it, but it could do better if it had color instead of it just being red and black. Though, it was very well ahead of its time. Maybe Nintendo should reintroduce a better version of Virtual Boy, instead of it being being red, it will be in full color. |

T_T I remember how the stand kept freakin breaking, though >_< The games... ah yes. I had Panic Bomber, Red Alarm, Galactic Pinball, Mario Tennis, 3D Tetris, Baseball... and some weird Ocean fighting game. |

</font>
BAH. Minor, yes. Kid, no.Anyway, I've only played the VB once. I see it as a warning to Nintendo of what could happen if it let's its "innovations" get to its head. | |
